The Children's Museum of Wilmington Presents the 6th Annual Enchanted Character Walk
Wilmington, NC — March 4, 2026 — The Children’s Museum of Wilmington is excited to present the 6th Annual Enchanted Character Walk on March 28th at 10am at the New Hanover County Arboretum sponsored by North State Bank.
Once again, the gardens of the New Hanover County Arboretum will transform into a storybook world where beloved characters step off the page and into real life! Join The Children’s Museum of Wilmington for a spring day filled with imagination, laughter, photos, autographs, and unforgettable family memories. During this iconic event, guests will have the opportunity to wander through the Arboretum together, all while posing for photos and getting autographs from their favorite fantasy characters.
The Museum's Enchanted Character Walk has become a Museum staple due to its uniqueness and impact. "Our Enchanted Character Walk is such a special day for our families, but it’s also vital to the work we do at the Museum," said Patti Erkes, Director of Development. "Every ticket purchased helps us continue creating joyful, hands-on learning experiences for children in our community. The Museum is a place where imaginations grow and families connect, and this fundraiser helps make that possible."
All proceeds from this event will benefit The Children’s Museum of Wilmington, which is dedicated to providing creative, educational, and inspiring experiences for children in Southeastern North Carolina.
Enchanted Character Walk tickets are on sale now for $50 per person. Tickets can be purchased online at https://www.playwilmington.org/enchanted-character-walk. The event will sell out so guests are encouraged to secure their spots early to this one-of-a-kind morning.
