The Children's Museum of Wilmington Hosts Pizza Putt: An Evening of Mini-Golf, Pizza, and Local Brews

WILMINGTON, NC – January 21, 2026 – Join The Children’s Museum of Wilmington on Friday, February 6th from 6pm to 9pm for Pizza Putt, a special evening featuring popular local craft beer, delicious pizza, and a one-of-a-kind mini-golf paradise! Guests of the event can expect unlimited pizza, mini-golf, and beer, as well as the chance to participate in exclusive raffles, the coveted Team Spirit competition, and the iconic Mug Master Challenge. Sip, swing, and score big all while advocating for hands-on play and learning for children in Southeastern North Carolina.

Pizza Putt is a 21+ event that offers guests the chance to support The Children’s Museum of Wilmington, a 501(c) (3) non-profit, while enjoying and socializing in a uniquely designed indoor mini-golf course. "Pizza Putt is a night of fun for our community, but it’s also a celebration of the power of play," says Patti Erkes, Director of Development at the Museum. "Play is important at every age, and every putt, every slice, and every cheer helps support hands-on learning experiences for our very youngest children and the families we serve across Wilmington."

Pizza Putt has returned for its second year at the Museum. The event was a longtime favorite prior to COVID and the Museum wanted to revive this highly requested, fan-favorite event with a fresh twist, giving guests a chance to see and engage with the space they are supporting.

This popular fundraiser brings together Museum supporters, donors, and community members for a night of fun, games, and giving.
