Wilmington, NC – The Children's Museum of Wilmington is thrilled to present Science All Around!, a celebration of the NC Science Festival, happening on Saturday, April 26th, from 9 AM to 12 PM. This year’s statewide theme is “Science: Everyday, Everywhere, Everyone,” and the Museum will be hosting a morning full of fun activities that explore the exciting world of science in interactive and hands-on ways!

Visitors of all ages can look forward to racing cars, making color-changing lemonade, launching rockets, and so much more! This event is designed to spark curiosity, inspire young minds, and make science come alive through play. In addition to these special activities, guests can enjoy all the Museum’s usual hands-on exhibits.

"We’re thrilled to host Science All Around at The Children's Museum of Wilmington as part of the North Carolina Science Festival!" says Anna Harris, Museum Educator. "This event brings hands-on, play-based science experiences to children and their caregivers, sparking curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking from an early age. When kids explore science through play, they develop skills that will benefit them for a lifetime. We can’t wait to welcome guests for a day of discovery, excitement, and learning!"

Tickets are $5 for members and $15 for non-members and can be purchased at playwilmington.org/science.

This event is made possible with support from our Atomic Sponsor, Wilmington Health.
