The Children's Museum of Wilmington Announces Early Ticket Sale for 16th Annual YachtVenture

WILMINGTON, NC –  August 19, 2026 –  The Children’s Museum of Wilmington is excited to announce that tickets for its 16th Annual YachtVenture fundraiser go on sale Monday, August 24. Wilmington's signature waterfront event will take place on October 24th from 6-9:30pm at Bradley Creek Yacht Club.

YachtVenture is one of the Museum’s most anticipated fundraisers of the year, bringing together the community for a fun-filled evening celebrating Wilmington’s coastal lifestyle while raising critical funds to support The Children’s Museum of Wilmington and its mission to inspire children and families through hands-on learning and the power of play. Guests can look forward to an unforgettable coastal evening featuring scenic yacht tours, handcrafted cocktails, delicious food, spirited auctions and raffles, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy time with friends while supporting a great cause.

“YachtVenture is such a special night for us because it really captures what makes Wilmington unique, our beautiful coast, our incredible community, and our love of bringing people together,” said Patti Erkes, Director of Development at The Children’s Museum of Wilmington. “At the end of the day, it’s about much more than a great party. The funds raised through YachtVenture directly support the Museum’s mission and help us continue creating meaningful, hands-on learning experiences for children and families in our community.”

YachtVenture is a 21+ event and offers guests the chance to support The Children’s Museum of Wilmington, a 501(c) (3) non-profit. Funds raised through the event help provide interactive exhibits, educational programs, outreach opportunities, and playful learning experiences that serve children and families throughout the community.

Early- Bird Pricing Available for One Week Only

Tickets go on sale Monday, August 24 for a special early bird price of $175 per person. This introductory price is available for one week only, with ticket prices increasing to to $200 beginning September 1. In addition to event tickets, guests can get in on the fun with the event's "A Taste of the Coast," offering the chance to win $2,500 in local dining gift cards. Raffle tickets are $100 each, with only 200 tickets available.
