Children’s Museum of Wilmington hosts annual Fall Festival
Families were in for a fun fall treat on Saturday in downtown Wilmington.
The Children’s Museum of Wilmington hosted its annual fall festival encompassing a variety of autumn-themed activities, aligning with the season of change.
There were various activities like pumpkin slime, invisible ink art, and the intriguing “elephant toothpaste,” all designed to explore physical and chemical changes in a playful manner.
Anna Culbertson, the Business Coordinator at the Children’s Museum, says the kids and their families had a blast.
“It’s always an exciting day for them to learn new things, explore the museum in way they don’t normally get to. It’s also a really fun time bringing family in, bringing grandparents, everyone just getting to see all sorts of new things and having a fun family event together,” Culbertson said.
The Children’s Museum of Wilmington has also partnered with power up therapy, an organization providing occupational therapy services for children and parents in Wilmington.
The event was a huge success and was nearly sold out.
