fun with food
Join us for a tasty week full of delicious delights! We will explore scientific concepts and how they relate to some of our favorite foods! Not only will we be making treats to tantalize your taste buds, but we will learn how we apply science to our edible experiments!
Monday, July 6th - Friday, July 10th
9:00AM - 1:00PM
Are you looking for the ultimate experience for your animal lover? This exciting week is full of unique animal encounters to encourage and grow your child's knowledge about many of our furry, and scaled, animal kingdom friends. Kids will spend their morning learning about the habitat, diet, and care of various critters. Then, each afternoon, there will be up close meetings with some of the species studied. These critters may include lizards, turtles, snakes, birds, cats, and dogs!
Monday, July 13th - Friday, July 17th
9:00AM - 4:00PM
Are you ready to make waves this summer? The Coastal Connections summer camp focuses on the ocean and all the wonders it holds! Learn about the many different landscapes and environments in the ocean, and some of the creatures that call these diverse areas home! We will host many interactive activities as a basis for learning more about the marine environment that is right in your backyard! The campers will create art, conduct science experiments and get to play in the Museum - all with the goal of learning more about the ocean and helping all campers develop better "coastal connections!"
Monday, July 20th - Friday, July 24th
9:00AM - 4PM
Adventure in the Arts
CMoW Summer Art Campers will explore a variety of mediums. We will look at the styles of many famous artists as our inspirations. Projects will include painting, collage, drawing, sculpture, and more! The artists will explore in-depth projects throughout the week and create their own "masterpieces." In addition to art, we will play games, explore nature, and explore the Museum.
