This day camp is designed for the little readers in your life. Join us at Storybook Camp as we read a different book each day that inspires our imagination. Related crafts in the morning, adventures in the afternoon, and some story telling of our own will be a fun way to encourage reading, writing, and creativity!
Ages 5-8 years.
Due to limited capacity because of COVID-19, please email our Operations Coordinator Dara Kahkonen at dka to with questions or to register for a camp(s) or combination of camps, we have all day camp options available.

ABOUT THE EDUCATORS
Miss Jessie
Miss Allison
Miss Jessie graduated in 2012 from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a BA in Social Science Comprehension with an emphasis in Secondary Education. She studied abroad in Heidelberg, Germany in summer 2010 and completed her student teaching in Ireland in Fall 2012. Jessie taught 2nd and 3rd grades and 6th through 8th grade Social Studies in south Florida. In 2018, Jessie graduated with a MA in history. She has been a Program Educator at CMoW since June 2019 and enjoys leading the Preschool Story Time, Toddler Time, and Adventures in Arts programs.
Fun fact: Miss Jessie is a certified scuba diver!

Miss Allison attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington for her undergraduate studies. She graduated in May of 2017 and received a Bachelors Degree in History and my Secondary Licensure for Education. Allison began her teaching career at South Brunswick High School in Southport, NC in August of 2017 as a Social Studies teacher. There, she also coaches volleyball, basketball, and track, as well as lead a service club (Interact Club) for the students. Allison is also serving in my second year as President of the Southport Evening Rotary Club, which is also a Service Club for the Community. She has been working at the Children’s Museum since attending UNCW and fell in love with the summer camp programs at the Museum! This will be her fifth year leading the camps at CMoW.
Fun fact: Miss Allison has been skydiving!

Morning session campers will need to bring a packed lunch.

All campers ages five years and older need a face mask.

All campers will need to bring a reusable, filled water bottle.

Please inform us of any allergies during registration.
In accordance with COVID-19 regulations, we will implement safe, social distancing practices throughout camp. Face coverings will be required for each attendee five years and older. Temperatures will be taken upon arrival at the event. Each caregiver will be asked to review and acknowledge a health waiver.
