$100 Provide a weekday membership to a deserving family in need
$250 Subsidize outreach for 30 low income students to have a field trip at the Museum
$500 Host visiting instructors for our Leading to Reading Literacy Program
$1,000 Provide new cabinets and work areas in our Art Room
$2,500 Help us grow our Human Body Exhibit to include the Circulatory, Nervous, or Muscle System
$5,000 Fund our STEM Education Outreach program that reaches 600 students annually at their schools

Would you like to help with summer camps, public programs, or exhibit upkeep? The Children's Museum is a great place to volunteer and work with the local community! From working one-on-one with museum visitors, to doing behind the scenes exhibit renovations, the Museum is always looking for extra help!

Interning at The Children's Museum is a great way to earn college credit in a fun, energy-filled environment! Our internships provide hands-on experience working in an educational non-profit museum. Previously the Museum has had interns from Anthropology, Art, Communication Studies, Graphic Design, Marketing, Professional Writing, Sociology, and Spanish departments. We are always looking for undergrad or graduate students to help bring the Museum new and creative ideas. For more questions or information, please email email@example.com
Volunteers work one-on-one with museum visitors, help with exhibit renovations, and assist educators with their programs. All volunteers must have a positive attitude, be friendly and most importantly work well with children. To volunteer at the museum, you must be 16 years or older. If you are between the ages of 16-17 you must have a letter of recommendation. If you are over 18 years old you must have a background check.
Interns are assigned a mentor relative to their subject of focus. We have a very experienced staff who through guidance and coaching will be able to help develop all the necessary skills for you to succeed in the workplace. Previously the museum has had interns from Anthropology, Art, Communication Studies, Graphic Design, Marketing, Professional Writing, Sociology, IT, and Spanish departments .This is a fun environment to work in and will definitely benefit you if you decide to intern here. To intern at the museum, old you must complete a background check.
