Imagination Circus
Welcome to the Imagination Circus, hosted by Bank of America Foundation! Take a look around the room to see everything offered. You can start out by turning Bernoulli Blower on and ask your child to place a ball on the cone and watch what happens. Ask them why they think the ball stays suspended in the air (hint: the answers are on the large poster). You can go to the trains and hit the bells using the stick on the shelf. Ask your child to sit on the unicycle and peddle as fast as they can and watch the elephant on the tight rope move back and forth. You will see the blue car by the large mirror-go ahead and have a seat in the tiny chairs and drive to your favorite vacation spot. Where would your child like to go, how long will it take you both to get there and what will you do when you get there? Don’t forget to push all the buttons on the car to make your drive more imaginable. You can ask your child to put on a puppet show for you or you can put a puppet show on for them. You will find numerous of animals and creature puppets in the baskets inside the puppet theatre. This will allow your child to create a wonderful story using their imagination. While you are under the tent, spin the large yellow wheel – what number did it land on? Now find that number on the trains and open the compartment to complete the activity inside-there are laminated sheets to guide you through the activity. You may help your child dress up in there favorite costume they find on the stage. Don’t forget to look in the baskets and tubs for accessories. Ask your child to look in the three large bins on the stage. They can hit the sound sticks to make all kinds of notes, ride the horse or start a band with the instruments.
